I am Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science and Law at Montclair State University. I study debates about memory in political theory and the role of memory in contestations over political membership (in Germany, the United States, and Mexico).
Before joining Montclair State University in 2018, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the FMSH in Paris, a faculty member at California State University San Marcos, and a Fellow at the Humanities Center at the University of Rochester. I received my PhD from the Department of Politics at the New School for Social Research.
